Return To ShopThe A Michel 489 watch movement is an open face calibre with a stop- and split-second function featuring pillar wheels. It is equipped with a barrel that incorporates a Geneva stopwork mechanism. The movement has been equipped with shock protection since approximately 1960. The mobile stud carrier, balance-stop, and its guide have been updated since around 1970. In addition to the above features, the movement includes a timer rattrapante with various timing options ranging from 60 seconds to 3 seconds, an addition timer, stem wind, sweep second, and both timer and split second functions. This movement was employed in watches produced around 1970.
